Why are Don Larson DMD and Parkway Dental of Eagle Merging?
When Dr. Tyson Gray told Dr. Don Larson about his plans to build a new dental office on State Street in Eagle, the two dentists began to discuss their dental philosophies and values. They found they had much in common. After several long conversations and half a dozen meetings, the two dentists began to hatch a plan for a powerful combination of forces. Soon, Dr. Gray’s partner, Dr. Tyler Hendricks joined the conversation. What if these two patient-focused practices merged to form a collaborative dental practice built on the principles of strict honesty, highest quality, relentless patient comfort and care, all utilizing the latest technology and techniques? What if these two practices combined with the goal of maintaining the friendly feel of a local office and the small-town values their patients have cherished for years? The new combined practice, Ascend Dental, will rise to provide Eagle’s premier dental care in one of the most sophisticated facilities in the Treasure Valley.

Don Larson DMD and Parkway Dental of Eagle have both outgrown their respective buildings in Eagle. Dr. Larson has dreamed of owning his own building and has wanted to expand, but his current facility lacks the space to add even one more dentist or hygienist. Parkway Dental’s site has an ample plot of ground, but a small, older building. In order to continue to maintain our high standards of care and quality for our current patients, we are thrilled to announce that we will build a beautiful, state-of-the-art office building together. We will break ground on this stunning facility in the Spring of 2024. The new office will be located at the current location of Parkway Dental in Eagle–which is located at 577 E. State Street in Eagle–just west of Dr. Don Larson’s current office. Architectural plans of the new building are above. When ground is broken, we will use this page to post updates of the progress of construction. McCarter Moorhouse is the general contractor for the new facility and brings decades of experience, including the successful completion of more than one dozen dental offices!
